Na’im Muhammad (A.K.A RASU) was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. Now based in New York, currently finishing his second year in Game Design and 3D Modeling/Animation at Pratt Institute. Graduating in May 2026. With experience in illustration, visual development, concept art, and digital game creation in Unity, as well as Japanese at an A2 level.

I believe that games are an expressive form of art; interactive, philosophical, and visual texts that bring a new and unique experience to storytelling beyond the limits of books or film. I love crafting video games that place the player inside living worlds, where meaning emerges through their choices and perspectives. For me, games represent freedom of expression and authorship. I am a very extroverted person with an analytical and process-oriented approach to creation. I love the collaborative process of creating games as art. I’m available for work in world building, game writing, and creative production to bring ambitious worlds and stories to life.

My creative inspiration comes from “Fantastical Epic Orchestral” music. When listening to songs like Old Stories" by Kevin Penkin, it feels as if I've been carried away and transported to another world, freely shaping the tone and energy of my designs, evoking environments that feel cinematic and evocative.

In my free time, I study Japanese. I have a deep interest in language, communication, and cultural exchange. My exposure to Japanese, along with foundational studies in Latin and French, inspired me to create a fully original fantasy language called Fulmillian. This process has strengthened my approach to worldbuilding and expanded my cultural perspective, allowing me to create richer, more authentic fictional worlds.
